Having recently placed new sod in my yard, I noticed taller blades of vegetation popping up that I imagined weren’t supposed to be there. I needed a way to cut off any flowering tips before seeding, and these shears did the job beautifully.The rotatable cutter head made it easy to maneuver around delicated places, and the blades are much sharper than others I’ve owned. They feel well-made, with a solid, qualitative build—definitely not the cheap plastic feel you sometimes get with garden tools. While trimming, I carefully collected the cut tips in a tray so nothing fell and then pulled the foreign vegetation out by the roots. Problem solved.Overall, this is a handy tool that makes lawn care and shrub trimming precise and effortless. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to cut pretty much anything to maintain a neat yard.

I have a pair of shears similar to these that stopped working, so when these Garden Guru Hand Grass Clipper Scissors appeared on my feed of items available for review, I knew they would be put to good use. I just tried them out along the edging of my flowerbed, which I have not been pleased with how the string trimmer cuts. Some of the features I appreciate about the scissors:* They are lightweight and won't tire out my wrists* They are sharp and cut well -- my previous pair had blades that got "stuck" and had to be pulled apart. These are super slick.* The handle rotates to accommodate the direction one needs to cut.These Garden Guru grass clippers boldly clip where no string trimmer has ever cut before!

The grass clippers are Easy to Hold while cutting grass and the blades are sharp. The blades on the grass clippers are designed to rotate around the clippers and once they get to there next rotating position the blades then snap in place for use. This feature is really handy to have as they allow so the user is able to cut grass in a lot of different places and tight areas that are hard to reach otherwise.The grass clippers make it easy to trim around sensitive areas like around newly planted trees and plants and on and on. I like using the grass clippers up against the house as the lawnmower and weed eater can’t get close enough without causing damage to wiring from lawn lights. It doesn’t take long to cut larger sections of grass as the blades are long and cut down on your cutting time.The handles on the grass clippers are the only weak point of the clippers. Don’t be tempted to hold on to the handles while turning the blade head to your cutting position of choice. Instead of holding the clippers by the handle, use that same hand to grab around the Black section of the handle area that’s just forward of the blade locking mechanism. If you’ll view my included pictures, I’ve written on them showing exactly where to grab ahold of while turning the head to the blades. Other than what I just discussed, in my opinion the grass clippers are affordably priced, made well, and DEF worth purchasing!

These cut like butter. These clippers are my go-to for pruning hydrangeas, azalea, and rhododendron. The handle grips are easy on my hands and the blades are reliable. These are big enough to do a hedge trimming, but also small enough to do detail work and deadheading. It has a safety lock mechanism and they easily hose down or wipe down to clean if they get muddy. These clippers would make a great gift for a gardener.
